Field Trips
Field Trips are designed to supplement and enrich the classroom curriculum. Field trips generally fall into three broad categories:
Living History
Examples include; the Fourth Grade overnight trip to Coloma, the Third Grade trip to the one room schoolhouse in Woodland and the Fifth Grade’s Boston Tea Party.
Art and Culture
St. James School benefits from its close proximity to the UC Davis Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. Students have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide array of national and international music, dance and theater groups. In addition, students visit The Crocker Art Museum, B Street Theater and The California Museum in nearby Sacramento.
