Extended Care Program
The St. James School Extended Care Program helps to meet the needs of our busy families by offering supervised care for students before and after school. Our goal is to provide a safe, healthy and positive environment.
The Extended Care Program mirrors the school’s policies, procedures and calendar. It is offered to all students enrolled in St. James School. The daily schedule of events is consistent with the philosophy and value system of the school.
The energetic staff coordinates recreation, snacks, arts and crafts, games and relaxation for the students. In addition, a “homework club,” under the direction of the Extension staff, is available for 3rd through 8th graders.
Before School Extended Care services are from 7:00 a.m. - 8:05 a.m.
After School Extended Care services begin immediately upon class dismissal until 5:30 p.m.
The Extended Care Program is not subsidized by the school or parish. Fees are its sole support and they are designed to maintain affordability.
Scholarships are available! Contact Barbara Makin, Extended Care Director, for more information.
