Extended Care Progam

St. James School Extended Care Program

St. James School Extended Care Program will offer a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where students can continue learning, playing, and building friendships after the school day ends. It will provide our students in all grades opportunities for social connections, creative activities, physical play, and academic support while giving families peace of mind knowing their child is in a caring and supportive after-school environment.

Homework Support & Learning Time

Students will have the opportunity to receive homework assistance during designated homework time if they need additional support. Completing homework will be encouraged but is not required. Students may choose to participate in an alternative quiet activity during the homework time such as reading, coloring, and educational activities.

Snacks

Students are provided snacks at Extended Care. Please inform us at enrollment if your child has any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special dietary needs, so we can provide appropriate snack options whenever possible. On minimum days, please have your child bring a lunch.

Extended Care Tuition Rates

A one-time registration fee of $95 per family (non-refundable) will be charged to your FACTS account.

Before School

Extended Care Program services are from 7:00am-8:05am.

Weekly Rates:

  • 1 Child — $52
  • 2 Children — $62
  • 3 Children — $72

After School

Extended Care Program services begin immediately upon class dismissal until 5:30pm.

Weekly Rates:

  • 1 Child — $135
  • 2 Children — $175
  • 3 Children — $215

Drop-In

Drop-in care provides flexible before- and after-school use at an hourly rate. A registration fee is required for drop-in enrollment.

Hourly Rates:

  • 1 Child — $22 per hour
  • 2 Children — $32 per hour
  • 3 Children — $40 per hour

Please review the Extended Care Enrollment Packet for student information, authorized pick-up information, plan selection, health and medical needs, emergency authorization, first aid permission, and the family agreement.
