About Our Music Program
Our passion is to engage children's development, knowledge, appreciation, and love of music. We teach music history, musicianship, instrumental, vocal, and liturgical music at St. James School. The impact and benefit of music instruction in children's lives is profound.
Through music, we witness marked improvements in each child's reading comprehension, memorization skills, problem solving, and reasoning. Music is an outlet for expressing personal creativity and developing spiritual gifts. Most of all, music brings joy and happiness to children's lives and the world around them. Our new Music Center will bring our program to new heights.
